The legal requirements in Pilot are lower, they will include the minimum technical requirements and SLA (much lighter than for the Pre-Production and Production environment) to be adhered to.  The compliance statement for Pilot will also be necessary to ensure the GDPR compliance. We indeed ask to use fake data (no personal data) but we can't control an Early Adopter in case they decide to use real data and become data controllers. In such case Node Operators become data controllers (with regards to the GDPR).
